TWANGFEST 2010 takes place on Saturday 5th June 2010 at Testbourne Community Centre in lovely Whitchurch, Hampshire. This Event Info section is here to provide you, as the title suggests, with useful information about the event so you can make the most of it - how to get there, when to get there, when to leave. Whats it in aid of?
All profits from this event go to local charities so please show your support (and have a really good time!).
Volunteering / Helping out
Any volunteers will get free entry for 2.5 hours work. Contact details are under the 'Contact us' section of the website.
How long?
Gates open @ 11:30am for 12:00pm start. Finishing up @ 11:30pm. We would like to clear the site by 12:00am.
ABSOLUTELY NO ADMISSION / RE-ADMISSION AFTER 10:00pm!

How to get there?
On Foot! However, those who can't, regular buses run from Andover, Winchester & Basingstoke. Also the train (Waterloo-Exeter line) will get you here in a flash!
Whitchurch is about an hour west of London (for example) and really couldn't be easier to get to.
If you wish to travel in comfort locally you may wish to use Style Travel Executive Cars who can be contacted on either: 0750 800 8983 or 01256 893283.
Whats Happening?
Loads... There's a main stage, a secondary stage (for some really noisey metal bands!) an open mic stage, a dance tent plus the laid back Tea tent.
What if I get hungry or thirsty?
You can bring your own picnic (no alcohol). However, There will be reasonably priced food, refreshments and a licensed bar available.
Please note:
NO alcoholic beverages are to be taken onto the site. Beer & food will be reasonably priced.
Please don't be offended if we ask you for ID. If you look under 21 you may have to prove you're over 18.
